Education

Impacting Generations

When people are in crisis, it’s hard to think about education, but without it we risk losing a generation and negatively impacting communities in the future.

Operation Corazon has a heart to see children educated and as we respond to any area, we will have an educational strategy.

Educating Children. Of course, our children our most vulnerable in the midst of a crisis. Educational opportunities might not exist if they are a migrant or refugee. Operation Corazon’s strategy is to educate parents and local leaders to provide education for children. We will also work with local governments to comply and even partner with existing or planned efforts. Education especially in Latin America will include English as a Second Language (ESL). By educating children, we are also mitigating and fighting against potential sex trafficking.

Educating and Supporting Parents. Parents in crisis may struggle to know how to move forward and what to do. Operation Corazon’s strategy is to educate parents in parenting skills and child safety, English as a Second Language, and local culture and job applications. The goal is to protect children through education and improve the family’s economic situation.

Educating local leaders. Operation Corazon’s leadership has taught leadership and pastoral development for many years and will assist local churches, government officials and leaders in how to navigate their current reality.

Sharing the Good News. Operation Corazon is committed to sharing the good news about Jesus. Salvation is an important and critical part of our strategy. Jesus is critical to overcoming any difficult situation. We want to bring prayer and the word of God wherever we go.

Through Operation Corazon, you are impacting future generations by bringing education to those who need it most.
